After School Matters is looking for volunteers to assist with the critical task of reviewing and scoring proposals for our Summer 2015, Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 teen programs. These program proposals come from potential Instructors who submit a synopsis of what they plan to teach, as well as accompanying activities and goals. Ideally, we would like to engage up to 30 volunteers with experience in the arts (visual, performance, culinary, etc.) in the process of reading, assessing and providing feedback on 4 proposals each. This volunteer opportunity is completely web-based and can be performed off site (maybe at home in your pajamas?). We estimate that the total time commitment for each volunteer will be approximately 3-4 hours. The proposals will be available for review from February 4th - February 13th. If interested, please fill out the questions attached to this opportuntiy so that we can learn more about your background! Further details about the RFP (Request for Proposals) External Review Process, as well as a rubric and password will be provided closer to the time of the project, should you be selected.
