Saving The Animals Together advocates for and rescues companion animals in crisis in Madison County TN. They are placed with fosters until adoption. Many times the dogs do not know how to walk on a leash and may be fearful and skittish. We are building a team of walkers to help us socialize and leash train the foster dogs. We will meet up once a month, alternating between an outdoorsy hike in a natural setting, and city park or city streets walking. This will expose the dogs to more new experiences. We need walkers and hikers of varying fitness levels and walking speeds to match with our various dogs. A small monthly commitment of your time can make a big difference in the life of a rescued dog.

Our kickoff is January 17th at Liberty Park, 24 Channing Way, Jackson TN at 10:00am. January is National Walk Your Dog Month and we think this is a great way to celebrate it.
