Reality U is financial literacy program designed to help students understand some of the "realities" involved in preparing for an employable future and adulthood. At Reality U, students are provided an Adult Scenario complete with marital status, number of children, occupation, and net monthly income. Students visit a variety of booths to "purchase" housing, transportation, communication services, child care, food, utilities, insurance, etc.
Volunteer Program Assistant(s)needed to help prepare for and facilitate "Reality U events" at local Cobb County and Marietta City middle and high schools. Must be reliable. Training and orientation provided. Reality U Events take place during school hours.

Communities In Schools of Marietta/Cobb County, Inc. is a collaborative organization that serves students in the Marietta City and Cobb County School districts. CISMCC provides services and activities to students that are geared toward successful completion of their education. CISMCC also provides parenting education programs to assist parents in helping their children succeed in school.
