Office Volunteer
Look Good...Feel Better (LGFB) is a free program that teaches women in active cancer treatment ways to deal with the appearance-related side effects of treatment.
Position Summary: American Cancer Society-Responsibilities:
They can help with a variety of tasks, such as: setting up rooms for sessions, greeting patients, bringing program supplies, helping patients sort out cosmetic supplies, place reminder calls to patients, and help schedule volunteer cosmetologists for programs.
Reports to the ACS staff partner responsible for LGFB.

About
The American Cancer Society of North Charleston is in need of volunteers at our office. We need people who are able to come in anytime Monday through Friday between 9:00am and 4:30pm to help organize a variety of tasks and materials for upcoming events/mailings and people to help cover our front desk. We have continuous projects with varying needs of time and attention, so whatever time you are able to commit, we have a task for you!
This volunteer work is fantastic for students fulfilling volunteer hours or people just looking for something to do, all for the fight against cancer.
The types of projects we have:
Partner with staff to support the administrative, event and program functions in American Cancer Society community offices. Greet public, serve as receptionist, answer phones, data entry, word processing, and general office work. Assist with processing donations and record keeping, meeting preparation, and preparing mailings.
The primary events are Relay For Life. We need volunteers now to help make these events a success!
