Do you love working with teens and helping them develop character and skills?

Do you have strenths in high school level math, science, or reading?

Do you consider yourself a good role model who can empathize with the struggles that teens face?

Children's Home Aid's IMPACT Center is an after-school teen center focusing on Homework Help, Enrichment and Life Skills Programming, with an empasis on the Carrera Program. The Carrera Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Program uses a long-term, holistic approach to empower youth, help them develop personal goals and the desire for a productive future, in addition to developing their sexual literacy and educating them about the consequences of sexual activity. The IMPACT Center serves teens 14-18 from the Englewood community.

Volunteers are needed M-Th from 4-6:30pm. Volunteers with skills in high school level science, math and reading are particularly needed.

Volunteers must be 21 or over and will complete a background check and health screen/TB test before volunteering.
