Hearts for Homeless, a mission partner of Menlo Park Presbyterian Church, is looking for a nurse (RN) to administer flu shots at our homeless outreach event scheduled for Saturday, October 25, 2014.
Our Bible Study, Dinner and Bingo Fellowship attracts 60-90 homeless and recently housed guests. We offer Bible study, dinner, clothing, haircuts, health education and screenings, and Bingo.
We anticipate 10-20 guests requesting flu shots between 5:30 - 7:30 PM, and one of our healthcare ministry team members should be able to facilitate vaccine and paperwork ("Orders of the Day," etc.) from the San Mateo County Health Department.
We just need a licensed health professional who can actually administer the flu shots to our guests.
