The Halloween party will include themed games, trick-or-treating along the luminary-lit Black Rock short loop, spooky stories around the campfire, hot cocoa and apple cider, and "creature feature" critter stations where families can learn about real creepy, crawly creatures of the desert. This event is open to the community and only costs $6 per vehicle.
Join in the fun as a volunteer! There are several different needs for the event including set up/tear down, handing out candy to trick or treaters on the trail, spooky story telling, assisting with creepy critter station, and helping with games. The shifts are flexible, but specifically looking for 4:30-6:30p, 5:30-6:30p, and 6:30-9:00p. But if you can serve for the whole time frame that is great too!
To sign up, please contact Ranger Jessica at jessicabland@mail.maricopa.gov or 623-935-2505 ext. 202
