More than 100 volunteers are needed each spring and fall to ensure the Girls on the Run 5k is a safe and fun celebration event.

Girls on the Run and Girls on Track participants (girls in 3rd - 8th grade) come together at the end of the 10-week season to run/walk 3.1 miles and continue moving forward in life. Help us celebrate the many girls from across the Sedgwick and Butler County area and their achievement by volunteering at this event!

Host a Cheer Station

Help us celebrate girls from across the Sedgwick and Butler County region and their achievement by hosting a 5k Cheer Station. This opportunity is perfect for corporate or social groups.

We’ll assign you a spot on the race course to meet-up and make some noise. Your team is encouraged to make signs, dress up, bring noisemakers and most of all cheer the girls on to the finish line.

Cheer station volunteers must check into their assigned post by 1:40 p.m.

Are you part of an organization or corporation that would like to volunteer at the 5k? Please email christy.thomas@girlsontherun.org for more information.
