Clermont Pets Alive! is seeking volunteers to assist with our cat adoption events which occur each weekend in various locations around Clermont County. Volunteers are welcome to commit to 1 hour or the entire event. Training will be provided.
If you can volunteer for the entire event, here is what Clermont Pets Alive! would ask of you:
Start of event - Set up cat cages for displaying adoptable cats, prep food & water dishes, and litter boxes, for cages; set up cage covers, bedding, cage cards, etc.
During event - Keep cages neat and clean, provide companionship to the cats; may involve some interaction with visitors, answering questions about individual cats or adoption process [ask even leader for help if needed].
End of event - Prepare cats and cages for transport, empty and pack food & water dishes, litter boxes; pack cage covers, bedding, etc.
