HeartlandAllianceaddresses poverty at its roots while empowering people with the tools to build better lives. Through our work, Heartland Alliance helps more than 1 million individuals each year whose lives are threatened by poverty and danger. Our commitments to housing, healthcare, jobs, and justice are crucial to a future of hope and opportunity, and are the cornerstones of a healthy society.
We are seeking individuals and/or groups who would like to volunteer to help during Heartland Alliance's premiere black tie event (cocktails/dinner/dancing/auction/raffle), scheduled for Saturday, November 8, at the luxurious Ritz Carlton Hotel in downtown Chicago, where Ron Mager serves as the master of ceremonies, and we are featuring the Rhythm City band.
Volunteer assignments include:
- Greeters
- Registration
- Auction Item Redemption
- Raffle Ticket Sales
- Silent Auction Monitiors
- Runners
- Clean-up
Benefits of volunteer include:
- paid parking/transportation
- a light meal will be provided
- Company (group) volunteers to be acknowledged on Heartland Alliance's website
- Company (group) volunteers to receive 10 free tickets to Heartland Alliance's Home & Garden event in the summer
