They’ll be racing to Austin from all around the world and we need your help to provide a Texas-sized welcome. Volunteers are needed to help Formula 1 U.S. Grand Prix race fans at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport on October 29-November 4, 2014. Volunteers will assist passengers in need of directional guidance and general airport information. To participate, volunteers must RSVP to attend a two-hour mandatory training session. Sessions will be provided on Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., Oct. 22 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., and Oct. 23 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. To register, or for more information, email volunteeratabia@austintexas.gov or call 512-530-6610. Registration deadline is Oct. 17.

- Welcome and assist visitors to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport
- Provide a professional, courteous image to passengers and visitors, leaving them with the knowledge that ABIA is friendly and hospitable part of the Austin community.
- Work with Department of Aviation staff members providing passengers and visitors with accurate and timely airport, Austin, and regional information.
