The Rockwood Holiday Open House!
This is a great way to volunteer with the whole family, a team of coworkers, or as a community service club. Your help keeps this family tradition free and accessible to all.
Friday December 5 - 5 to 9pm, Saturday December 6 - 5 to 9pm, Sunday December 7 -12 to 4pm. See various opportunities below.
Note to teens: Be a leader and recruit your friends and peers to volunteer for this event. The time you put into outreach will be added to your service hours. ALL teen volunteers will receive a letter verifying their service hours for use with the Delaware Volunteer Credit or other community service requirements.
Costumed Characters - Rudolph, Frosty and Elves - (Costumes are provided but be ready for cold weather. Elves wear own red or green tights, please) Perfect opportunity for teens.
Serving Refreshments--Free cookies and hot chocolate make people smile. Teens volunteers welcome.
Craft help for the little ones--This way the kids leave with something they created themselves! A leader is needed for this activity in addition to the craft helpers.
Photographer and technical printing support for photos with Santa-- Create keepsakes for visitors.
Elf Wranglers--Help elves and costumed characters perform their assignments--safely!
