Ever since its founding in 1993, Young Ladies of Tomorrow, Inc. (YLOT) has worked with pre-adolescent and teenage girls (ages 14-17) who have become involved in the juvenile justice system. In hopes of redirecting their course toward meaningful and productive futures, YLOT offers counseling, therapeutic recreation, job training, mentorship, and other services/opportunities for its participants.

The Media Director plays an incredibly important role in the marketing and communications team. This position requires writing and editing content for a number newsletters, media projects, and designing strategic marketing media plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the brand’s voice, content marketing, and publishing across Facebook, Twitter, our website, and LinkedIn.
• Write social media optimized posts that provide exceptional, engaging, motivating content. Coordinate with teams and staff to ensure successful coordinated campaigns for communication, fund-raising, and education.
• Post material including text, photos, graphics, videos and animations. He/she will review website content for relevance and timeliness by identifying and updating out-of-date information. Quality control duties will include continuously reviewing our website to eliminate typos, broken links, functionality errors and poor interface.

Works very closely with the Executive Director and our partners in managing all communications/media of the organization.
