ORGANIZATION: Children's Aid - New York, NY

Our East Harlem Center is seeking volunteers who can tutor teens in Algebra 1, Geometry, Calculus, and Chemistry. Volunteers would be working with 1 to 2 students at a time on the same day on either Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday evenings from 6pm to 8pm.

Volunteers should have a strong skill in these subjects with special emphasis on:
Numbers and Operations
Geometry and Measurements
Algebra and Functions
Problem Solving
Reasoning

Volunteers should be able to commit to once a week or at least once every two weeks and should be willing to submit to an interview and a background check.

Volunteers must be at least 21 years of age and it would be preferred if you have had experience working with teens or teaching.
