Friends of Youth’s New Ground Totem Lake transitional home for youth, has the capacity to serve 10 residents. Volunteers will support the staff in weekend activities. In addition to helping staff, volunteers will have time to develop constructive relationships with the young adults. The ideal volunteer will build trust, honesty, and responsibility. Additional responsibilities may include helping out with dinner, interacting and socializing with residents, leading a fun activity, and reporting any issues/concerns to the staff.
Requirements:
Volunteer application, confidentiality agreement, volunteer orientation, and background check
Age Requirement: 25

Friends of Youth, formed in 1951, is a nationally recognized not-for-profit health and human service organization located in Redmond, WA.
