The Client Outreach department at Catholic Charities of Kansas City-St. Joseph is looking for volunteers to serve as outreach specialists. This process would include taking demographic information, assessing needs and referring to internal or external resources. This is an excellent opportunity that would allow the volunteer to become and integral part of agenecy operations.
QUALIFICATION & SKILLS REQUIRED:
*Motivation to assist others in need.
*Basic computer skills
*Proficiency in entry level data management.
* Customer service skills including working closely with people under duress.
*Willingness to work in a team environment.
*Background checks are required.
TIME COMMITMENT/SCHEDULE:
* Position will be located the Caritas Center. Time and days are negotiable and specific appointment times are a possibility.
