We are looking for volunteer instructors for our Children's Education programs during the school year and over the summer. This is a great opportunity to teach youth about plants, gardening, and science! We are looking for volunteers who have teaching experience and can lead interactive activities. Training is provided.
Opportunities include:
- Teach kids about science during an indoor gardening program with youth in ASD's 21st Century Community Learning Center's program.
- Lead outdoor environmental science lessons during spring and fall field trips.
- Assist with our Junior Master Gardener summer day camp and help kids grow foods for kids in need.
- Have fun doing outdoor activities with kids during special events and festivals.
Join us. Get your hands dirty. And make an impact in your community!
