The Texana Department at the San Antonio Public Library is in need of Volunteer Library Aides. Activities include assisting patrons in using microfilm reader/printer,using the library catalog and genealogy databases. Assist patrons in locating genealogy materials and non-current periodicals.

Requires good customer service skills. Patience working with inexperienced computer users and beginning genealogists. Volunteer applicants must be comfortable searching online databases and have a basic understanding of genealogy research methods.
