BLINDSTART's Dragon Boat Race team. Come join us as we assist our Visually Impaired People (VIP'S) land, board, and help them in anyway at Mother's Beach on Saturday, October 4th. Some have guide dogs that need to be watched while owners are on the water. You will also learn how to become a Sighted Guide!

Blind Start of America is an award winning 501(c)3 non-profit organization, who's passion is bringing together sighted and visually impaired people through exciting athletic and social events like Dragon Boat Racing and the Blind Mud Run. Our mission is to provide scholarships for blind and visually impaired persons (VIPs) to develop job skills to enable them to ultimately lead lives of independence. These scholarships provide education, training, communication, transportation, adaptive equipment and technology.
Description
We raise awareness and money for visually impaired individuals. We do this by participating in marathons, dragon boat races, and mud runs.
