The Kids' Reading Room is set up in underpriviledged apartment communities in the Spring Branch area to promote literacy and instill the love of reading in elementary children! Help children discover and explore new adventures through books! You will provide storytime to elementary children and read to younger students individually or in small groups. Monitor the room as children read on their own and help with book selection.
Meet and greet parents and students. Choose either Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays 4:00PM-5:15PM or 4:l15-5:30 depending on location. We currently have 5 locations in different apartment communities. Come make a difference! We need you!!
