To support the child care supervisor, maintaining the safety and well-being of the children and to create a stable environment for the children and parents.
Be able to follow simple tasks with children.
Be able to assist children with planned activities and snacks.
Be aware of the needs of the children.
Communicating with the parents any progress and concerns.
Being able to soothe the anxiety of the parents leaving their children in the hands of the child care volunteer.
A true love for infants and toddlers.
Be a "Team-Player"
Energetic and dedicated
2 to 4 hours per week. This time commitment is important for the trust and relationship building with the children.
Commitment to the term of the program child care is being provided for.
On-site training to be done by the child care supervisor.
Fingerprinting and background check through the Diocese of Orlando.
