SUMMARY
The Ronald McDonald House of the Red River Valley offers families a way to stay together in a safe environment. Our Raking Leaves volunteers make the House peaceful and welcoming to families, visitors and other volunteers.
MISSION
The Ronald McDonald House of the Red River Valley supports families whose children are receiving medical care in the Fargo-Moorhead area by providing home-like comfort, support and care for families.
RAKING LEAVES POSITION
Families staying at the Ronald McDonald House often experience high levels of stress due to the illness or health status of their child. The Ronald McDonald House provides comfort and care during these difficult times. One way the Ronald McDonald House tries to elevate stress felt by families is through a comfortable and peaceful environment. Our yard brighten spirits and welcome families, visitors and volunteers to our House. The Ronald McDonald House of the Red River Valley is looking for dependable, positive, motivated individuals and groups to rake our yards this fall. Taking care of the yard involves raking, mowing and disposing of yard waste. Daily and weekly commitments preferred by groups or individuals.

Description
Ronald McDonald House Charities, a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) corporation, creates, finds and supports programs that directly improve the health and well being of children. Its grassroots-driven programs offer help where children need it most - right in their own communities. RMHC makes an immediate, positive impact on children's lives through its global network of local Chapters in 32 countries and regions and its three core programs: the Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile. These programs provide a bridge to accessible health care and allow families more time together, which helps in the healing process.
