Help serve the homeless by picking up donated food (Friday afternoons)!

Stepping Stone is a homeless shelter that serves meals 3 times a day! We are not licensed to cook from scratch so we rely on food donations which we then reheat and serve. We would not be able to run without this food, and we are looking for some awesome volunteers to help us make it possible to serve 3 full meals each day.

The shelter receives donated food from a variety of local organizations including Caribou, Panera, Pentair, Pizza Ranch, and more.

We are looking for a volunteer with reliable transportation to drive to Pentair and 2 Caribou locations on Friday afternoons all in Anoka. The position would be every Friday (or however often you are able). You would receive training from a current Stepping Stone volunteer who will help show you the ropes.

We also have on-call positions available to fill in as needed!

This position begins at 1:30pm and takes less than an hour. This >1 hour commitment may not seem like much, but it makes a huge impact for our homeless residents!
