The Contributor is seeking passionate volunteers to assistant with paper sales and distribution. If you are someone with a heart to serve those who have or are experiencing homelessness, please promptly contact us at info@thecontributor.org to fill out an application. The ideal applicant would be able to:
- display excellent people and customer service skills
- commit to one weekly shift per week
- work for 3-5 hours per shift
Volunteering with The Contributor is a uniquely rewarding experience which proves difficult to replicate elsewhere. Our volunteers love the time they spend helping the paper’s mission to provide genuine employment opportunities to homeless and formerly homeless individuals in Nashville.
Many of our volunteers stay with our organization for long periods of time after discovering how they impact the lives of so many who are actively working to improve their current circumstances. Description
The Contributor is a 501c3 nonprofit organization in Nashville, Tennessee. We print a weekly street newspaper that focuses on issues surrounding homelessness and poverty and is sold by homeless and formerly homeless individuals on the street.
