Citywide volunteer community service initiative to encourage citizens enhance and beautify their neighborhood parks
It’s My Park Day encourages citizens to take ownership and pride in their neighborhood park
With assistance from the City’s park and recreation staff, volunteers will help with litter and debris pickup, graffiti removal, weeding, and mulching.
Park Department will supply supplies such as gloves, bags, shovels, mulch, litter sticks, wheel barrows, pitch forks, and materials needed to complete other specific projects such as creek cleanups.
Since the first It’s My Park Day, nearly 4,000 volunteers have participated in cleanup and maintenance projects at 100 Dallas parks.
We welcome community groups, families, corporate and individuals who want to volunteer.
