We are looking for some positive volunteers who love to work with middle and high school students. We need someone that is creative, fun, positive and is excited to develop these wonderful youth into great leaders in our community!
The youth leadership program is called Young Ladies/ Young Men (YLYM) and it's based in Virginia Beach, VA. Our mission is to bring awareness to and decrease bullying and suicide among our youth.
The Mentor Volunteer must have own transportation, internet access, cell phone or home phone, 18 or older and can committ to at least 2 Wednesday a month from 6-8:30pm.
If interested, you will need to attend a volunteer training on September 28th before you can mentor the youth.

Our focus is to enhance the lives of children in large families by partnering with their working parents offering them educational, financial and recreational programs. Such as our Emergency Relief Program which prevents eviction and utility disconnection. Our Young Ladies and Young Men after school youth leadership program which empowers our youth to become leaders in our community. Ready Set Read program that promotes Summer reading.
