Help preserve the Sonoran Desert by removing buffelgrass! Every second Saturday, volunteers will be manually removing this invasive plant from around the park. Most buffelgrass pull sites will be off trail so please wear strudy shoes, long pants, and sun protection. Bring plenty of water. Gloves and tools will be provided. No need to register. Times vary throughout the year.

Our goal at Saguaro National Park is to maintain the beauty of the Sonoran Desert. Invasive grasses have invaded our eosystem and we need the communities help with the removal.
Description
Help preserve the Sonoran Desert by removing buffelgrass! Every second Saturday of each month, volunteers and NPS staff will be manually removing this invasive plant from around the park. Most buffelgrass pull sites will be off trail so please wear sturdy shoes, long pants, and sun protection. Bring plenty of water. Gloves and tools will be provided.
