Are you passionate about building a positive community and bringing great people together to do amazing things? Join us in making a meaningful impact by helping those who can’t always afford adequate health and wellness care!
For the 10th year, over 350 volunteers each year have donated their time to make sure that our community gets much needed health and wellness services. This annual event brings medical service providers, local businesses, organizations, and the community together for FREE medical screenings, health insurance enrollment assistance, food distribution, and much more
You’ll get to meet so many amazing new people, contribute to building better health for all and help strengthen our community. No experience necessary. Just a desire to work with like-minded people to plan an amazing community event!

Description
At the Asian American Center of Frederick we believe that anything is possible. For over 15 years we have worked hard to better the lives of immigrants living in and around Frederick County. We believe in grass-roots relationships and conducting outreach across inter-ethnic groups, erasing that invisible line of intolerance that separates us.
As our County becomes more diverse, the responsibility rests on us to first eliminate our own barriers. We offer a diverse range of services and events, including interpretation services, assistance in obtaining citizenship, language and culture education programs, health advocacy and outreach programs, and much more!
