Men are hospice patients too and they routinely ask for a male volunteer to come and visit with them for companionship! Join the awesome group of volunteers at Compassionate Care Hospice and make a difference in a patients life. We provide all training and continuing eduacation. We understand you are busy and have a full life so we will schedule the training around you and understand if you are only able to visit a patient a couple of times a month although once a week is wonderful! We look forward to hearing from YOU!!

Description

Founded in 1993, Compassionate Care Hospice is a community based organization committed to providing the highest quality of end-of-life care to patients and their families. We take care of seriously ill patients with a goal of maximizing quality of life.With the help of our services, most patients are able to remain in the comfort and privacy of their own homes, but we do also care for patients in nursing homes and other facilities.The hospice team includes nurses, physicians, social workers, counselors, chaplains, home health aides, and trained volunteers to help patients and their families live as fully and as comfortably as possible.
