Outline of Volunteer Duties:
- - Assist the Program Coordinator and/or Assistant Program Coordinator with greeting guests and serving a meal for 80 or more people
- - Assist in the kitchen with simple food preparation, service, and clean up
- - Meet Caf guests and engage in conversation
- - Assist with meeting the needs of our guests
- - Assist with general clean up
- - Volunteer hours are 9:00 PM-11:00 PM

The mission of Joseph's House is to work collaboratively with others to aid the "least of our brothers and sisters" by offering a continuum of services including emergency shelter, a range of supportive housing, and access to comprehensive social services.
Description
Joseph's House of Camden, New Jersey is a non-profit organization that works collaboratively with others to offer a continuum of services including emergency shelter, adequate meals, and a range of comprehensive social services including, but not limited to, veterans services, connection to benefits, counseling services, job and housing referrals, and prenatal care.
Throughout Camden, but especially in the downtown area, increasing numbers of women and men are sleeping on the streets, under highway overpasses, and in abandoned buildings. Our shelter has brought and continues to bring immediate relief to this growing population of fragile homeless.
