It's that time of year! Twilight Tales season is among us and we are seeking some spooky volunteers. With the addition of another weekend of performances (5 tours, 5 nights; 5 times the fright!), there are plenty of openings for cast members AND behind-the-scenes help.
We are holding an open casting call for volunteers on Saturday, October 4, 11am-2pm for all parts. Who doesn't like scaring people?
Twilight Tales will show at the National Colonial Farm on five nights: Oct 17, 18, 23, 24, 25 from 7 - 9 pm. We are not asking you to commit to helping all five days (though, if you do, you'll receive our undying appreciation).
Rehearsal dates, running from 6pm-8pm:
Thursday, October 9
Tuesday, October 14
Thursday, October 16
Tuesday, October 21 (for any additional rehearsing needed, due to any 2nd week cast changes.
Interested? Call Meg at 301-283-2113 or email mnicholas@accokeek.org.

In partnership with the National Park Service, the Accokeek Foundation stewards 200 acres of Piscataway Park. Situated directly across the Potomac River from George Washington’s Mount Vernon, this land was protected to preserve historic views and now serves as an outdoor classroom for educational programs about land conservation, historic preservation, sustainable agriculture, and environmental stewardship. Entertaining tours and performances, customized experience based activities, and service learning opportunities help visitors connect to the land and to one another.
