In the heart of the Gardens overlooking Lake Rowena, the Leu House, listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, has been meticulously restored to reflect the history of the house exemplifying turn of the century Florida living. Conduct tour groups through the two story home. Shifts are 3-4 hours and tour groups circulate every 30 minutes. Learn the fascinating history of the former owners of the home and their impact on Central Florida

Harry P. Leu Gardens provides a cultural venue that promotes the awareness and understanding of plants, the environment and the Garden's history.

Description

A beautiful 50-acre garden minutes from downtown Orlando. Stroll along winding pathways through a tropical rain forest under shaded canopies, encounter a kaleidoscope of color and fragrance in the stunning rose garden and watch butterflies dance in their native habitat. In the heart of the gardens is Orlando's only historical home open to the public, the Leu House Museum, a late nineteenth century home listed on the National Register of Historic Places. With an amazing camellia collection and largest formal rose garden in Florida, Leu Gardens has become an inspiration for garden novices and enthusiasts alike.
