ORGANIZATION: National MS Society - Greater Carolinas Chapter

Join us for Bike MS: Breakaway to the Beach - a 2 day cycling event that raises funds to support people living with Multiple Sclerosis.

The Bike MS: Breakaway to the Beach starts on the sandy shores of beautiful Sunset Beach and takes cyclists through the quiet roads of rural NC and SC. Saturday’s route will go north to Lake Waccamaw in North Carolina. Sunday’s route will go south to North Myrtle Beach.

Be a part of this exciting event and enjoy all the festivities.

Volunteer individually or with a group, October 17, 18 or 19, 2014. Volunteer jobs include:

  • Rest Stops

  • HAM Radio operators

  • Registration/Rider check in

  • Driving support vehicles and supply trucks

  • Food/drink servers

  • Decorations

  • Finish line cheerers

  • Set up and clean up

  • Medics

  • and many more

MS stops people from moving. The National MS Society exists to make sure it doesn’t. The Greater Carolinas Chapter, with offices located in Raleigh, Greensboro, and Charlotte, NC, serves over 18,000 individuals affected by MS in North and South Carolina. We help each person address the challenges of living with MS and raise funds for MS research. Our vision is a World Free of MS!
