The Penguin Book Truck is coming to the Highland Park Public Library and we are looking for volunteers to help staff the truck on Wednesday, Oct. 8th. Volunteers will assist with sales transactions and all profits from the books sold from the Penguin Book Truck will benefit the library. Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older and will be asked to stand for the duration of the shift. Volunteers must be outgoing and willing to serve as a salesperson for the day.
- Who: 2 Volunteers per shift, 16 years of age or older
- What: Staffing & selling books at the Penguin Book Truck
- When: Wednesday, Oct. 8th from 11:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Shifts: [11:15 a.m. to 2 p.m.][2 p.m. to 4 p.m.][4 p.m. to 6 p.m.]
Truck may depart earlier than 6:00 p.m., but no earlier than 5:00 p.m. - Where: Near the front entrance to the HP Library
