Come make a difference in Hendricks Park! Join Eugene Park Stewards and Friends of Hendricks Park to help maintain trails in the Douglas-fir forest. Every year trail short-cuts appear between established trails causing erosion, soil compaction and spreading weeds through the forest. We need a mighty work force to pile logs and branches to brush out these rogue trails. Depending on the weather and the number of volunteers, we may also pull English ivy, an aggressive vine carpeting much of the forest floor.
