Volunteering for KEEN is fun and provides the opportunity for one-to-one work with some terrific kids and young adults with developmental and physical disabilities. As a KEEN volunteer, you will be paired one-on-one with a youth with a disability for fun swim activities, including diving for rings, jumping off the diving board, or just relaxing in the water. You don't need any prior experience working with individuals who have disabilities - we'll train you on your first day of participation. You don't need to be a good swimmer, either. Our swimmers will love you just as you are! KEEN offers opportunities for occasional participation, regular involvement, or program leadership. Please contact us to schedule your first volunteer session. We also welcome volunteer groups for a one-time or ongoing volunteer experience!
