Each American Cancer Society Relay For Life event is planned, organized, and implemented by a local team of Volunteer Leaders. A successful event needs volunteers to help in three major areas:

Bringing the People, Building the Fun, and Funding the Mission.

CLICK HERE for a list of skills that match well within each major area. Think about your skills, what talents you would bring to a team of volunteers, and what would be a good fit for you.

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life movement is the world’s largest fundraising event to end cancer, uniting communities across the globe to fight back against this disease.

Teams camp out at local schools, parks, or fairgrounds and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times, while entertainment, music, and fun activities keep things lively. Throughout the event we honor cancer Survivors and Caregivers.
