Position Summary: The Ready, Set, Play! Assistant facilitator will assist in the facilitation of Ready, Set, Play! Smith’s weekly parent support group. Ready, Set, Play! is an interactive 6 week play group for parents, caregivers, and their children ages 18 months - 2 years. The group explores ideas for sparking children’s curiosity, imagination, and creativity through play.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist lead facilitator in discussion times
- Supervise children (ages 18mos-26mos) while parents and caregivers are engaged in discussion on play
- Lead small craft in the beginning of session; help sing songs
Ready, Set, Play! takes place every Tuesday morning from 10am-11am at Smith Playground.
