What is the Recess Baltimore Program? Recess Baltimore is a seven-month educational after-school program designed to empower children ages 5 to 14 attending Baltimore City Recreation and Park Centers to make healthy behavior changes and become leaders and advocates for physical activity and healthy eating.
What is the Kick off Event? Join us for the 2014 Kick Off Event for the Recess Baltimore Program. This event will take place on October 3, 2014 at 2:00 PM in Druid Hill Park. All six participating Recreation and Parks Centers will come together to celebrate the beginning of another great year. During the event the children will participate in exciting activity stations that will include:

  • Baseball Skills Stations
  • Strength and Conditioning Station
  • Zumba Station
  • Water and Snacks Station
