Volunteers needed to provide companionship and support to terminally ill patients and their families

Our Volunteers provide emotional support, empathy, respite and other supportive services to our hospice patients and their families. Other forms of assistance include comfort measure, which includes reading to and writing for patients, sitting at bedside.

Benefits for volunteering:

1. Connects the volunteer with other members of the community.
2. Gives the volunteer a personal sense of self-worth by befriending one with great wisdom but with a limited opportunity to share it.
3. Such an association with a our patients will allow the volunteer to grow as an individual in both a spiritual and intellectual sense.
