According to the report, Animal Shelters in Tennessee, of only 24 reporting agencies, (of 49 Certified Animal Control Agencies listed) over 77,000 animals were killed in 2006. Lack of enforcement of spay and neuter laws, lack of access to low cost spay and neuter, very little regulation of breeding facilities, and a depressed economy all contribute to the overpopulation and subsequent high euthanasia rates.
Saving The Animals Together rescues animals at risk of euthanasia, completely vets the animals and then places them in loving homes. Many of these homes are found through our Pennsylvania chapter.

Saving The Animals Together is a group of animal lovers dedicated to networking and rescuing dogs and cats from Jackson Madison County TN Rabies Control/Small Animal Shelter as well as animals at risk of being impounded. We invite you to help us save the lives of these pets on death row.
Description
Saving The Animals Together is an animal welfare advocacy group as well as an active foster based rescue. We concentrete on homeless and abandoned animals in our county. We also offer low cost microchipping to the public.
