ORGANIZATION: The Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes Center

Museum Docent
Students from Mary Buren Elementary, a local school in Guadalupe, investigate the Dunes Center's Marine Mammals display case.

The Dunes Center is a natural history museum and information center in Guadalupe, CA. We are best known for our artifacts from the 1923 film, The Ten Commandments, and our natural history exhibits. Museum docents greet visitors, guide tours of the center, provide information about local attractions, and help with administrative tasks. Training is provided. We are currently looking for a docent available on Saturdays and/or Sundays from 10am - 4pm. The Dunes Center is a nonprofit natural history museum and visitor center based out of Guadalupe, CA. We work to restore and conserve the unique dunes ecosystem through our visitor center, community hikes, and education programs. Without our volunteers and members, none of this would be possible!
