Purpose/Goal of Position: To support The Salvation Army Oceanside Corps in providing services to the community by translating Spanish and English to members of the community.
Qualifications/Skills/Certifications Needed:
1. Bilingual in English and Spanish required
2. Ability to maintain confidentiality and boundaries as required and appropriate
3. Strong interpersonal skills; Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse staff and participants
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Translate Spanish and English for members of the community.
2. Work with other staff on site to facilitate optimal participation and a positive experience for members who do not speak English
