As a mentor meet with the same child every week for one hour at our location. You will establish a supportive and lasting relationship that focuses on academics, self-esteem, and building a bright future. You can also share a special skill or hobby with your child!
We aim to pair each of our students up with a mentor and take special care to find a good match for both of you! Mentoring makes a difference in a child's life.

Mission Statement
We aim to provide a holistic arts education and safe haven for the children and youth of Wilmington.
Description
The Cathedral Choir School is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides:
- A safe places for children and youth after school
- Academic tutoring
- One-on-one mentoring
- Professional choral training
- Private piano and voice lessons
- Leadership training and development
- Constructive recreation
We provide all of these things free of cost to children ages 7-17 in the Greater Wilmington area. We rely on donations and volunteers to support the growth of our students.
Our students come to us after school where they get homework help, tutoring, and mentoring, then spend their free time exploring new hobbies. They are also served a meal by the Food Bank of Delaware.
Twice a week each student has choir rehearsal in the evening. Throughout the school year our students perform alongside a semi-professional group of adult singers in our intergenerational choir.
