PLACEMENT PURPOSE
To instruct American Red Cross Disaster/Emergency Services classes to internal Red Cross audiences as well as external community groups throughout our region's/chapter's jurisdiction.
OPEN TIME DAYS
Flexible schedule available. Opportunities available during the day, evening or weekends. Must teach 4 classes per calendar year to remain an advanced instructor.
- Region/Chapter Volunteer Orientation
- Disaster Instructor Specialty Training
- Disaster Services: An Overview (modules one and two)
- Experience in the area of instruction (example: you would need to be experienced at casework to teach Client Casework classes)
- Successful completion of courses you will teach
- OntheJob training as required by the Chapter
