Event Volunteers Needed Friday Night

The North Texas Food Bank will be hosting a fundraiser outside in the Dallas Farmers Market this Friday (yes, this Friday). If you could spare some time, we have a handful of slots still available!
- Duties: Set-up for silent auction/wine auction, registration and signage, distribution of utensils to chef stations, etc. Assignments will be given during orientation.
- Shift Time: Arrive at 5:30 p.m. and be dismissed at 11:00 p.m.
- Attire: Business casual/casual chic (no t-shirts or jeans)
- Location: "The Shed" (Building 1) at the Dallas Farmers Market
- Incentive: Enjoy some some tasting samples from local restaurants
- Other: Must be willing to stand the entire evening, be friendly and helpful, be comfortable using a computer, must be over 21 years of age

Founded in 1982, the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a Dallas nonprofit hunger relief organization that distributes donated, purchased and prepared foods through a network of more than 262 Food Assistance Partners in 13 counties. As a member of Feeding America, we support the nutritional needs of children, families and seniors through education, advocacy and strategic partnerships.
We strive to be the best nonprofit. Including access provided through SNAP application services, NTFB provides access to nearly 175,000 nutritious meals every day. ReThink Hunger is our three-year initiative to provide healthier food, develop new ways to extend our reach and improve the lives of those we serve.
