ORGANIZATION: Volunteers of America Texas

Volunteers of America Texas is in search of a compassionate and responsible individual to assist the daycare staff at Shadydell LIGHT, a residential substance abuse treatment facility for women and women with children.

The daycare assistant will be responsible for helping the daycare specialist care for, play with, feed, etc. the children of various ages who are staying at LIGHT while their mothers receive treatment. Volunteers should be licensed in CPR and first aid and have experience working with children.

Volunteers with a desire to work with children are encouraged to apply.
