Meals-on-Wheels is looking for outgoing, energetic, and people-focused volunteers interested in assisting our county-wide campaign to reach isolated, low-income, and disabled seniors in need of home-delivered meals. The Outreach Volunteer will assist staff identify and contact local businesses, service providers, civic and faith-based groups, and government agencies. The Volunteer will also help plan and attend health fairs and community events promoting health and wellness, as well as preparedness and prevention, for seniors and their families and caregivers. If you would like to help us expand our reach throughout San Diego County, please don’t hesitate; our seniors need your help!

The mission of Meals on Wheels San Diego County is to support the independence and well-being of seniors.
Description
We are recruiting caring individuals who would like to be a part of our organization by delivering healthy meals to seniors. Delivery drivers are able to work as few or as many hours as they wish on a temporary or long-term basis. Training is provided to all volunteers.
