ORGANIZATION: Create Now

Create Now is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1996 that transforms the lives of youth in need through creative arts mentoring and opportunities. We serve children ages 2-21 who have been abused neglected, abandoned, orphaned, homeless, runaways, teen parents, substance abusers, victims of domestic violence, children of prisoners, gang members or incarcerated through our therapeutic programs in music, writing, visual arts, dance, theatre and more. We have reached 35,000 of the most troubled youth in Southern California during the last 18 years.

We're hosting a fundraising benefit in Pasadena on Sunday, October 12 with two of the top smooth jazz saxophonists. Some of our alumni will be there, as well as kids from our singing workshop. We're expecting 250 guests.

There is a lead videographer who will be documenting the event. However, we need an additional shooter to capture B roll and other footage. You'll receive food/drinks and hear phenomenal music.

Please send your bio and samples to jill@createnow.org.

Mission Statement

Create Now is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1996 that transforms the lives of youth in need through arts mentoring and experiences. We serve vulnerable children from birth to age 24 with our therapeutic programs in music, writing, visual arts, fashion, digital media and the performing arts. Each year, we also bring thousands of these youngsters to concerts, plays and other cultural events. We have reached over 44,000 of the most troubled youth in Southern California during the last 22 years.
