Volunteers of America Texas is in search of passionate and energetic individuals or groups to coordinate monthly birthday parties for residents at Thomas Square Apartments, an affordable housing site for low income seniors!
Birthday party coordinators will be responsible for planning and coordinating a monthly party for all the residents who have a birthday in that month, including providing and serving food, set up and clean up, and for engaging with residents. Volunteers will have an opportunity to interact with residents in a fun and laid-back environment and help the seniors feel appreciated.
Volunteers with the desire to work with seniors are encouraged to apply.
